This is fantastic! I'm currently working on my M.Ed. in Art Ed. and designing a stop motion animation unit for the upper elementary grade levels. I'm thrilled to see that Chaska/Chan. art teachers are taking a progressive approach to art instruction.
forgive me for being critical, but I made my stop motion videos in middle school. The raw pictures for a standard video of mine took up 4 GB of space.
We use a program called HyperStudio which lets you create cell animations. Student animate levers, volcanoes, pangaea concept, faults and of course lots of animations just for fun. Magnolia Intermediate School, Grass Valley California.
