for blue eyes, you NEVER wear blue, you wear lilac or pale pink for lighter blues, and peach/gold/browns for darker blues. Makeup wise, pastel pinks or peahces, along with browns, peaches or golds.
Very dark, smoky looks also work well for lighter blue eyes, and thick black mascara is better than clear or just a thin layer.
yea browns and darks work because there's a contrast in color blues make your eyes look faded, and also that girl was giving tips on making blue eyes bluer and if you notice her eyes didnt look significantly blue using her OWN tips lol
no offense, but does she know what she's talking about??
you NEVER use blue shadows and liners. people think that will bring out the blue, but it actually makes them appear washed out and more grey. this is because the liner/shadow is a true blue. it will stand out more than your eyes.
neutrals are the way to go. browns and tans, and possibly gold shades. Never orange, it's to over the top.
sorry, but i'm an eye wear practitioner and i know what really works.
Im not big on wearing alot of black eyeliner, because it tends to feel a bit too harsh, so if i do, im usually using black liquid liner for a "cats eye" or that sexy Marilyn Monroe look, which i find works really well with my light blue eyes. Otherwise, i prefer brown liner for a more natural look.
I use different shades of brown and gold , and that really brings out the blue in my eyes.
Also, I have that same blue eyeshadow, and it's so vivid! I love it! I only use a tiny bit on the lower outside corner of my eye, otherwise it takes away from my natural eye color.
my eyes are like light blue, but can easily be recognized as blue. i find when i use blue eye shadows, it makes them look grey. orange and browns make my eyes look as blue as the writing on youtube.
Lol she comes out in the Trojan vibrations commercial ...
