Hey, where'd you get those tail light covers?

@phundamentalz They are not covers. Tail lights and reverse lights were painted with body color matching paint. It's called S55 taillight treatment, the old 60's Marauders had something similar on the S55 model Marauder.

A friend of mine works at an exhaust shop and he recommend them one time, did some research on them and got a great deal on them. Figured if I didn't like them I'd go back to my Flowmasters. They are becoming quite the popular muffler choice for the Mercury Marauder now. Hardly any drone, out flows other mufflers, price point is good and sound terrific stock or highly modded cars.

what kind of engine/transmission upgrades have you done on your marauder?

Nothing major yet just a custom SCT tune, PHP intake spacer, NGK TR6IX plugs, GMS coil connectors and PI 3500 high stall torque converter. Having 4.10 gears put in next month sometime. Not really going to do too much to the engine/trans as it has almost 140k miles on it right now. Might do the trans J-mod next month also.

I'd guess 5.7-6.0 secs, all depends if I dead punch it or pre-load the torque converter. With my drag radials (3.90 effective rear gear) I can pull a 5.2 sec 0-60. My street tires are plus size one from the factory size which decreases the rear gear number slightly.

you must be a CVN member. i notice you had the tails/ reverse lights painted where they punch out, looks bad ass the way you had them painted to match, i did mine black on a white cvpi. makes it look like it came factory the way yours are done
