  • I never heard of an Aurex cassette deck, is that a Canadian brand? I have a 1992 Denon slide-out drawer deck that doesn't reverse. I love it!

  • @JSneaker nah, it was a brand made by Toshiba. Like Pioneer's Centrex, or Panasonic's Technics. I'm not even sure the brand name still exists.

  • Nice setup! I like realistic stuff!

  • @coolbluelights Wood design ftw!!!

  • @coolbluelights Me too! Although some of it was pretty cheap, there was also some really excellent Realistic equipment made.

  • I can't call myself a real audio "junkie" like vwestlife, all I have for a stereo system is a Panasonic system I found on the curb that needed repairs to the cassette deck. Provides decent sound with the stock speakers. I came very close to getting a TEAC home stereo system with CD, cassette, record player, and tuner in an oak stand that had been sitting in a storage room for about 8 years, unfortunately it sold before I could get it.

  • Nice setup!

  • @talldude123 Thanks!

  • Aiptek?

  • @vwestlife that would be an improvement LOL, it's a DXG with a broken manual focus switch.

  • Nice rig! I like the woodgrain all around the turntable and the headshell.

  • @DaAnalogDogg86 Yea I like it too. It looks like solid wood.
