its just a metal thing that they heat in the oven, black people have ugly hair so they need high heat to burn thier hair up. use a GHD it does better and it uses electricity not this oven crap!

Hello xxpunkernickelgurlxx,

This iron will work on any texture of hair when used correctly. Thermal Marcel type irons are controlled exclusively by the hair designer. With a marcel stove to heat them and testing them on a tissue paper. If the tissue turns brown it is too hot if not it is ready. It will leave your hair shinnier than ever before. It will also last longer than a ceramic or electric iron.

about the tissue, i've heard that you can do it with a white towel but my towels are kinda expensive and i'd probaly wreck them all :P

That's interesting you say that because the model's hair for the flat iron came out glossy but light and it didn't look like many products were in her hair. Ceramic irons don't leave the hair with an airy feel.
