leute, warum streitet ihr euch über ihr fach.

eines tages wird sie einfach eine assoluta sein, wenn sie klug bleibt.

ich habe sie zum ersten mal live erlebt mit liedern von johann strauss in schwarzenberg.

das einzige was mir sofort klar war, dass der saal dort einfach zu klein für ihre stimme war.

sie wird uns allen noch viele schöne stunden und viele überraschungen bereiten.

I couldn't in the end, because I was too far away from the stage. She was wonderful and funny and cute and sexy and everything xD

I think, however, that she was not feeling well, because she did not come out at the backstage door, but at the front door, so I could not talk to her :( Anyway, I will in Vienna ^^

As a dramatic coloratura soprano, Damrau surprised me...so peacefull, so sweet...that pianissimo on the high notes...almos Caballe style...quite ressembles Kathleen Battle! Theres nothing Damrau cant do! LOVELY AND AMAZING! The living proof that they actually exist, the contemporany opera talents

People confuse her voice because her voice has a lot more body, color, and power than most coloratura sopranos.

I believe her to be a dramatic coloratura as well, not a dramatic soprano. There's quite a difference between dramatic soprano and dramatic coloratura. I think she's dramatic coloratura  because of her voice color and tension as well as the strenght. Her color although she is by far a high soprano is dramatic... Anyway, who cares what they call her? SHE IS WONDERFUL!!! A fantastic singer and a actress! An artist! And I adore her! Bravissima Damrau!

It was a nice song indeed. I like even more when I can admire the sweetness of all her vocal range and I like the way she make that transition between a high pitch and a low pitch, so elegant.
