  • the one with the doll--that is the only one that matters...

  • wow pussies it is so not scary

  • I saw this when I was about 10....it terrfified me and to this day gives me chills....

  • Her mother reminds me of my mother.

  • LOL!!!!! remember guys and gals, nothing is more scary than your own imagination.........A shark may be in the water sometimes, but you think it's there all of the time :P

  • This movie was sheer nightmare fuel for me as a kid. My parents thought it was a good idea to show this to me when I was 8 and let me tell you, it did not go well. This movie is the reason why I still tuck the sheet under my feet to ensure this little fucker doesn't get in my shit while I'm sleeping.

  • @Shrader01 Me too and I still look under the bed and I'm in my 30s. i hear ya!!!!

  • @Shrader01 five years old in 1980. this was NIGHTMARE MATERIAL! I had forgotten SO MUCH about it (I remembered the doll as a 'cat') hooray for YOUTUBE!

  • been looking for this for years.....what was date it was made ? anyone know ??

  • Trilogy of Terror is the name of the "movie", the name of this episode is called Amelia. The other two are Julie, and Millicent and Theresa (?). (the one where she has split personalities)

  • In the first one Karen Black cooked that doll in crispy pieces. And in the second one, well. you will have to find out. Cool stuff and funny at times too.

  • Same here i could not watch this movie without that doll scaring the shit out of me. Now i own it on VHS and DVD. and i love it now. By the way there is a sequal to this titled Trilogy of Terror 2 back in 1997. Lesette Anthony played the Karen Black part and the Zuni-Fetish Doll made it's reapearence in the sequal and it was to me funny and halarious too. Werewolf The TV Series is also cool to. That doll does not scare me in th least i would punt that little rodent into my fireplace.. Cont...

  • Wow, that chick really needs to break up with her mother...gaddamn.

(And she really should get her money back for that "Zuni Fetish" lol! Not...uh, yeah, not quite...right...or even close.)

  • Karen Black, always a Queen.

  • Heavens to Faye Greener! THANKS for uploading this terrific "BLAST FROM THE PAST"! I vividly recall watching this as a teenager back in the 70's. Scary stuff! One of the best made for TV movies ever in my book! Always had a soft spot in my heart for Karen Black, after seeing "Day of the Locust" when it was first released.

  • If I were her I would mail that doll to her mother.

  • LOL our teacher have dats creepy doll and she got bored so she showed us this movie in class xD

  • I remember watching this when it first aired in 1975 and it did scare me....can't believe it was that long ago.

  • according to her, the number she dialed at 7:28 is 333-3333 xD

  • lol soo fake, you could see the string behind the doll that pulled off the chain at 6:47

  • omg this scared me so badly when i was a kid lol XD

  • Spill.com

  • She should mail the doll to her bitchy-ass mother.

  • Daddy.

    Yes sweetheart.

Where are my dolls? I can't find them and...

    Sweetheart...

    Yes Daddy.

Dolls are evil. Now don't argue with me sweety. I know what I'm talking about.

  • Isn't that girl Vicki from Full House? LOL, she was Bob Saget's GF in Full House.

  • Holy crap! That is the one I was looking for and talking about for over 25 years! I too saw it as a kid, I think I was like six or seven. All I remember were bits 'n pieces. I don't even want to finish watching it because it be before my bedtime. But I can still hear that thing go "rearrgh rearrgh rearrgh rearrgh rearrgh," right before it chomps down on her. Itz cool 2 cuz itz on Diablo II as a demon tribesman.

  • My mother just saw what I was watching, and RAN OUT OF THE ROOM!! She has been telling people for years about how badly this movie scared her as a child. From reading the comments, apparently she's not the only one. Good grief, what kind of stuff did they used to air on broadcast TV?

  • What's that thing she's using when she says I better get it over with? LOL

Sometimes you forget what we once had and when you're seeing it again for the first time in years it seems rather odd. I haven't seen a rotary phone in thirty years or more. LOL

  • Anyone else notice that her mother's and Arthur's phone number is 111-1111?

  • Damn Zuni doll, you scary!

  • my grandparents use to have an old beach house, that was filled with VHS tapes, and all of us grandkids would go there every summer when we were kids. I remeber us trying to show how unscared we were of this trilogy, but in the end we would all wind up in the middle of the living room floor sleeping, because we were to scared to go to our own beds.

  • FUCK IT FELL OFF!!!

  • I remember watching the trilogy a small kit. This one scared the cr@p outta me, just because the actress has always spooked me out, she is like the linda blair before linda blair.

  • Ha! Now I remember why Doctor Orpheus' gift to Dean Venture after his testicle surgery sounded familiar. Too funny.

  • scared me too lol...i never knew the name of this lol..cool!

  • Muñequito cuchillo or little doll with knife. Yeah, this how puerto rican aunts used to scare the wits out of misbehaving kids back in 1975. Shit, I'm still traumatized.

  • @josmay68 Lol! My family used The Exorcist to scare the crap out of us...It worked. Puerto Rican parents are MEAN!

  • @Shrryd Yeh I'm still weird around showers coz of Hitchcock and Steven King's "IT"

  • Yep - me, too... I'm 43 and have been afraid of dolls my whole life because of this movie. Stupid movie, too - but as a little kid, it was horrifying.

  • OH S****! ITS THE YAYA MAN!!!!!

  • This scared the absolute S**T out of me when I first saw it. I'm real glad that when I looked it up on Wikipedia, Rotten Tomatos gives it a 100% rating and a critic says this third part is possibly the most scary thing ever from a TV movie. Don't feel like such a baby now, but even at the age of 48, I'm a bit nervous about watching it again, especially as it's 2.30 am and I live alone..

  • @Maxshard I hope you don't live alone because you wet the bed, because of this.

  • Holly shit its ODB with a welfare check strapped to his back!!!!

  • this shit scared the shit outta me!

  • F$cking lil wayne, first he tarnishes rap then he kind of ruins the zuni doll, what's next is he going to play guitar? oh wait...

  • Cool that you have this. It's based off of Richard Matheson's (I Am Legend) short story, "Amelia". This is a classic. :)

  • I read this in a book!! and I'm only fourteen and thought it was great

  • @ArtisticlyCrazy this is an adaptation of a short story called PREY

  • Oooohhhh this was a GOOD one!!!!!!!!

  • I remember laying in the floor in the dark watching this with my Mom when I was young, had nightmares for days after!

  • this shit scared the fuck outta me when i was a kid

  • this is the original chucki

  • Her mother sounds like my parents.

  • Sooooo y did she have that doll? o_o

  • THIS!!!!!!!!!! that fucking doll used to scare the liveing shit out of me parents used to threaten to put the vhs on to get me to go to bed hahaahahahahha scary shit

  • 6:29 Epic fail

  • That doll looks like Gene Simmons on acid!

  • this was one i used to watch as a kid...i always thought the end was cool

  • I was about 7 or 8 when this came out and mother was going to let me & my then 5 year old sister watch this. Problem was we both fell asleep during the first story & never saw it! I would see this YEARS later on TV. Classic! I have the DVD and I lend it to my sister every now & then. In fact I loaned it to her today and she'll try to have her 11 year old daughter watch it with her! BTW, how many times did Karen fall down in this?

  • the women is an idiot !

  • Why that statue remind me of Lil'Wayne?

  • I was looking for this movie, i was 178 when i seen this now im 368 its still scary.

  • lol...I remember watching this when I was 7 years old. My friend and I just happened to turn on TBS Superstation and there it was.A small strange creature running after a terrified woman. That scene stays in my head til this day.

  • That thing gave me nightmares for years. Specially after I saw the doll up close at the Universal Studios back in the 80s.

  • i wish i had a fella so i could have a lovely time ;(

  • i like the movie karen black played in called burnt offerings.

  • WEEZY F. BABY, PLEASE SAY THE BABY!!!!

  • OMG!!! I saw this when I was a kid and have been trying to figure out what it was for years. Mom and my aunt were cleaning out a closet and I was watching something I wasn't supposed to watch :) I'm 40 and dolls still freak me out because of this. I don't like birds either but that's Alfred Hitchcock's fault.

  • @shrryd, same here, certain dolls, will freak me out too. Damn, horror movie dolls.

  • @shrryd OMG I been looking for this for so long too now i finally find it

  • @shrryd o my god same thing wit me except im 11 not 40 :) lmao

  • man tht thing is ugly!! :P

  • Omgosh, here it is. I was 15 years old and am now 52. Still to this very day I cannot let my feet dangle off the side of a bed because of this movie.

  • @woodwitchwha hehehe meeeee tooo! Now try watching as that young person, in a dark room with a mother who collected DOLLS! (some with chains =O )

  • Poor lady, if I told my mom that I was going out with a guy instead of meeting her for usual Friday lunches/dinners, she'd be cheering me on and giving me dating tips. >.>

  • really a apartment! wich is about five stories high shell get killed fast long to get out

  • @dreammodel29

It's payback, because she took his can of Krunk juice!

    LOL!!

  • Wasn't TV fantastic when they used to 'film', 'write', 'script', 'act', 'direct', etc.? This was back when I had 3 channels with an antenna & could find something on to watch. Nowadays, and 1500+ Reality Shows later, I can flip though 200 channels & wind up watching an old classic movie on TCM. I still haven't watched one reality show yet & wonder how long all of the networks will get away with the cost cuts & savings. I guess as long as people watch them. Never understood it personally.

  • Is that the lady from the Great Gatsby?

  • This made me terrified of dolls my entire childhood

  • This movie was based on a short story titled "Prey" that originally was included in an issue of Playboy Magazine in the early 70s.I remember reading it and then sharing it with my teenaged friends, this movie was as scary good as he story was.

  • I really felt bad for Karen Black's character in this with that bitch of a mother. Her mom sounds like she swaps child-rearing tips with Mrs. Bates.

I wish she'd just yell out, "Mom, I'm getting laid tonight and there's nothing you can do to stop me!"

  • I remember this. That thing looks like Lil Wayne.

  • @111Treasury HELL YEAH!

  • @111Treasury OMG....Me and a friend were just saying that the other day...lol. they should do a remake with him and Monique...

  • @111Treasure-lololol.

  • @111Treasury hahahahahahah

  • @111Treasury hahaha

  • @111Treasury hahahaha oh my god i just peed myself laughing

  • @111Treasury lmmfao!!!!!

  • I was 6 or 7 when I first saw this and I swear I couldn't sleep for days because of the freaky little doll. Truth be told, it STILL gives me the creeps!

  • @SFchica87 It sounds like there are a bunch of us from the same generation (born around 1970) that inexplicably were allowed to see this and had nightmares to show for it.

  • lol @ 'the one with the doll' LMAO

  • She obviously started

  • The doll is actually a groid. Trained to kill white females.

  • A monkey.

  • I have listed one of these on eBay today, its a really nice replica, check it out

  • I saw this when I was just a little horror fan. Classic all the way.

  • i watched this when i was 10 and wtf . i am so scared for a week! damn so scary

  • One of the first horror TV movies I ever saw. I still love it!!

  • I always wanted to fuck Karen Black, that crazy-eye bitch. You notice the Zuni fetish kind of LOOKS like her?

  • look at 6:48 you can see the string pull the chain off

  • It's so funny how this tv movie scared the crap out of all of us as children. I too, saw this as a seven or eight year old and for as long as I remember ...the images in this movie I still carry with me after all these years ...same as all of YOU ...I was talking with some co-workers when "Trilogy of Terror" came up ...all of us who saw this never forgot it yet no one knew exactly what it was called ...just that Karen Black was in it ...we pieced it together and here we are...Hysterical!

  • 4:09

Bloody FUCK did I get a shock there. Just her hand going off-screen, and then coming back, thought the doll was going to strangle her or something.

  • I saw this in the early 1970s on TV. I was about 4yrs old. Scared me.

  • Yes me as well, not sure I should be watching it again even after all these years....

  • I also saw this on TV at a very young age. My parents laughed at it, but I was scared shitless.

  • OH MY GOD. I just clicked this link without knowing what it was and... all the memories just rushed back into my head! I totally forgot about this movie... it's almost like my mind blocked it out or something. OH GOD THE MEMORIES!

  • IT A GREAT FLICK

  • I loved this I would always copy it's war cry to scare my older sister. XD

  • Zuni is awsome

  • the voluptuous horror of karen black

  • @getoutofmyway01 I'm goin' to Alaska.

  • 2:54 slut!

  • I still don't get why she kept the doll. I would've stuck it back in the box and wrapped chains around it.

  • Karen Black was arguably the most active actress between 1974 and 1976. The Great Gatsby,Airport '75,Trilogy of Terror,Day of the Locust,Nashville,Family Plot,Burnt Offerings...You couldn't turn around without seeing her in a movie! She was awesome though, especially in Burnt Offerings.

  • this movie gave me nightmares as a child!

  • i was a kid when i saw this..i keep thinking how to beat the doll if i was in her place

  • Oh yeak I can still feel the freakin fear ...ok not now but I remember being

    scared shitless

  • 5:53 - Wow... Her mom is a real bitch.

  • Gotta love the Horrible Beauty of Karen Black

  • I saw this when i was 5 on a friday night and it scared the shit out of me, too! it still does. goddamn that thing.

  • @missukwALT only childs play and dead silence are movies with dolls.......you know other than those????

  • Give the doll to your mom!!!!!

  • OMG I watched this when was 13 with my Mom, we were both FREAKED OUT and spoke about it many years since.....

  • I remember watching this as a kid with my brothers and laughing my ass off for 10 straight minutes XD

  • Did you know that the woman in this movie was just suffering a common side effect of the drug Xanax?

  • the dolls appearence in the next movie. was the only one i saw

haunted me when i was little. i always thought id see it in the dark. going down my stairs id be scared

fuck who ever created this monster doll lol

  • 6:45 you can see that thing making the golden protection get broken? ahhaha

  • Doll made in Africa, chain made in China!

  • @aquaristic the doll looks much more like it is a south american jungle warrior, rather than an african warrior

  • @longfootbuddy I want one =D

  • I always loved this, the doll's acting was superb!

  • Why did her mom and boyfriend have the same phone number?

  • That doll was satan in disguise! I had a chilling sensation in my spine after watching it! One of those great ABC tv movies on Friday nights that i enjoyed so much in the 70's. They had some spooky ones in those days!

  • we,re all watching this ,,totally unprepared of what was to come next,,,forever etched in our minds

  • This movie gave me nightmares beyond belief. Only the power of Youtube can make it possible I see it again after 35 years.

  • This movie gave me nightmares when I first saw it. I was a mere young'un and my cousins made me watch it!

  • I was like 4 when i saw this. scared the living crap out of me - probably scarred me for life. ahhh such a fond memory!

  • this was the shit

  • im a kid well im 11 and im gonna watch it i dont get scared easly but only sometimes if the movie is pretty scary

  • I saw this as a child and it pissed me off moreso than scared me. I wanted that damn doll to die so badly, I remember talking out loud and saying "Die already"!!

  • sorry, it was´n good..maybe 20 years ago...but now...

  • scared me as a kid, what kind of stuff did they use to make us watch

  • i used to watch this every time i went over my daddy house...

  • looks like lil wayne

  • If she had sent the Zunni Doll to moms place around 2:00 this movie would have been allot better! Mom needs some action in her life!

  • Admit it people, after you saw this, whenever you went to step out of bed, you actually jumped a good three feet out because you thought the doll was underneath your bed.

  • Or hiding in the closet.

I was like ten when this came out.

Hated the doll. Mad feel skeered.

  • @ThreeCatsScratching lol I probably will after watching this

  • i remember when I was about five a friend telling me about this and she scared the crap out of me with her telling this is the first time I've seen it.

  • the doll reminds me of Newt Gingrich. Anyhow, I remember seeing this way back when it came out in the 70's, this really did scare the hell outa me.

  • For some reason I could see this being on Mystery Science Theater 3000.

  • @soulreaver91 HAHA I WISH!

  • Cool. A Ronnie James Dio action figure!

  • Hahaha! I never noticed the similarity, but you're right! I think that's hilarious, and I think Dio himself would probably be flattered by the comparison!

  • This was film was part of the ABC Movie of Week series of the 70's. There were some duds, but many (like this one; Trilogy of Terror) were well-written, engaging and entertaining TV.

  • Like many others here, I saw this when I was five and I swear I couldn't sleep for YEARS afterwards.
