more teens need to play THIS game damnit and not that bullshit Grand theft auto, this is a story of a boy becoming a man and it's so touching, More kids need to surround themselves with this game and game's like it...thought provoking on an emotional level, and it's only a game, made a grown man cry!
i can tell you why sega is holding on not to release this shenmue 3 becasue of one
economics are crap in every part of the world one job losses and
sega hopefull will make other console and thats why i think this is why there waitng and biding there time. and maybe next gen sega will have a new sega console. i hope.:)
No need for remakes just add the original versions. Japanese speech, english subtitles and LESS loading time. Loading times beeing Shenmue 1 and 2's only real flaw.

As for them redoing them what i'd also like to see is them re-compressing the audio. It would improve the voices a fair deal to not have them at telephone quality. @theonik2006 This would be a betrayal to Sega consoles. In my opinion Shenmue 3 should be made for next Sega console and if Sega decides not to to anything in Hardware business then Shenmue 3 should never get released and make Shenmue 1 + 2 never be remastered.
I'm a biggest Sega fan, I love the games, I love it's consoles, I love Shenmue but I cannot imagine looking at this game if it's going to be released on Sony Playstation or Microsoft Xbox I would be heart broken.

@Consumerofknowledge Sega has issues. Whether they have the money or not, their management is bad. They hit the jackpot with Sonic and then screwed that up. They released what 5 different home systems in the 90s? Sega was competing with itself with some of its systems and then with the Dreamcast it had horrible timing, not long before the xbox and ps2, and bad marketing. Now they are a 3rd party developer that can't even get their staple game right (sonic).

wonderful music, listening to it after all these years brings back a lot of memories of Shenmue.
Shenmue was a beautiful, artistic, symphony of creativity. Yu Suzuki should be given a chance to complete his story through games.
