I had to write a paper on "Bianca e Fernando" for my opera history class last semester and when I was assigned it I thought to myself, "Bianca e Fernando? WTF. I've never heard of that opera." This is why. A real treat if you can find a rare tenor to play Fernando but that's nearly impossible so it's never performed.

Padronanza assoluta di tutto, padronanza della voce è fuor di dubbio, padronanza della scena come la prima, dominio assoluto del pubblico! c'è tutto per non dire nulla di negativo e c'è tutto per dire ogni cosa di buono e sublime. A great version! I have the 94 official CD version but this one was intenser! Isn´t it a high F#? Besides this aria I´ve never heard Kunde venture above the D. On his solo CD he don´t do many high notes alas.

I meant so easy, velvety and ringing at the same time. I know that Matteuzzi reached also a high "G".

matteuzzi never reached a high G afaik. I have a high F# by him in my opera tenors beyond high D video.
