awesome, apart from the fact that they're using Tornado's for air superiority. whereas ,as they've demonstrated in Libya, in real life they're used more for ground strikes, and the faster, more agile and better armed Typhoon is used for air superiority. Perhaps all the Typhoons were busy that day lol
@morzee94 Tornado gr4's are being used in libya for ground strikes and the Tornado F3 was a fighter but is out of service now and the tyhoon easnt around then
I was sat in the crowds that day. I'd reccomend it to anyone who enjoys watching planes. What you can't appreciate from this video is that sitting hundreds of yards away in the crowd area you could feel the heat on your face from those explosions. Awesome stuff.
I saw that, truly inspiring for me, i'm 14 and want to Join the Royal Air Force (RAF), just the Qualifications I am thinking about when I get to Year 10 and 11 and Sixth Form. I've Joined My Local Air Training Corps (ATC) To get a rough Idea of what life is like serving in the RAF. I'm just hoping my dream will come of Helping UK Airspace in Aircraft.
And what was the Music Played at the Start of this Clip when the Mission was going to Start :D
They are there, in all sorts of roles, including front line fighter pilots. Last week saw the first deployment of an all female crew in an RAF Puma helicopter to Afghanistan to assist with movement of troops, equiptment and wounded.
