Wow. Ben is starting to become a little sociopath, isn't he? Though it's Derek Branning I'd rather watch out for definitely. I do see the reasons for their sprouted "friendship", though--Ben just became more of the family outcast, while Derek has been one for years. On that note, though, I can see why they're both outcasts *lol*

This is way too dour for me. I might stop watching. I watch soaps to escape for 1/2 an hour, not to feel worse than i already did.

This story line has been very hard for me to get into. The acting is all very good and I see where it's going, but I just don't LIKE the characters at the moment. I mean Ben is just as much of an ass as Phil. All the satellite characters are also sorta douche-y. Maybe I am just not watching it with the right frame of mind.

I think it's hilarious that about 99% of the time Ian is possibly the most contemptible person in the entire universe, but every so often, that 1% of the time, he knows just the right thing to say and do. I'm glad he chose this situation to be in that tiny percent.
