I just remember me and my bro playing it and my bro killed me by meleeing me off the cliff so I was just watching and I heard the soundtrack and I started singing and my bro was like SHUDDUP!!! and I just loved it. :D

@TheCucucumber I did too. The Brutes felt like they were "entitled" to everything. Elites were more natural at being guards and foot soldiers, their tactics were better developed and executed than the Brutes' "military strategy" The Elites got screwed by the Prophets.

I never play Halo for the Xbox Live crap. Heck, I don't play any multiplayer other than co-op. I have trouble beating the game in any difficulty other than easy, but I don't care. I just love the badass feeling of killing arrogant aliens with a shotgun at close ranges.

Halo isn't just a game to me. It's a story which I can re-live over and over in many different ways. It just makes me feel great, no matter how bad of a player I really am, to kick alien ass as Masterchief. Long live Halo.

This is on one of the (later) levels, and is commonly known as 'The Gravemind Level'.

It is one of the longest campaign missions in Halo 2, and the only one known to cause crashes if you're running it on XP (pc). This is right at the end (mausoleum), against (I believe) 4 Ultra Elites, 6 Brutes (various ranks, couldn't tell. To many dead bodies), 2 Hunters, 2 Stealth elites, and some weirdo elite wearing Ultra Armor but with a councillor helm. I JUST BEAT IT ><

Actually, the brutes might kill a elite or two but they don't really stand a chance ;p If iI recall, it takes the brutes like 3 - 6 hits when they're in banana crazy mode to kill the elite. 1 elite with dual wield plasma's or a sword can generally rape anything on legendary. That's what I love about halo,.... they'll never be a better game. I really hope they make a sequel, is this how Halo ends? Master Chief is just stuck up in space ? /;

I've beat the game so many times and it seems like you cant just go straight to that level. because I did it and it didn't work so put it on legendary to see if it makes a difference. I was shocked that the song was in there. just before is set foot in that one room it started to play thought nothing of it until I paused it and asked my brother he said, and I Quote "F*ck man. is this an Easter egg." I had no Idea. its great that its in halo though. now when i'm board I play halo on that level.

I rememer the mausoleum battle well. I used to sit back and watch the brutes and elites scrap it out every single time. I remember one time a berserking brute took down all 3 spec ops elites and tried to have a melee battle with 2 hunters. Lol.
