it's so obvious that he doesn't die because it's too anti-climactic for the show if the hero dies. especially that way and for this show. though the pb characters have been proven over and over again to be expendable and mortal, Michael can't die or the show does too.

But of course they'd show the flatline. I would too if I were them. It's called promotion :D duh
