  • what episode is this from?

  • I'm trying desperately to find a beer glass like the one Wolfe has in this scene. Cant find it anywhere. Who would have thought finding a damn beer glass would be so difficult?

  • @steviebhoy7 It isn't just a tall pilsner glass?

    Those are everywhere online.

  • This scene was wonderful.

  • Anyone know the name of this song?

  • This should have been the final scene, and final episode, of the entire series.

  • Sadly, Maury Chaykin, who played Wolfe, passed away July 27, 2010.

  • @RayNDeere is put by the heavy weapons guy from team fortress 2 - "It is sad day."

  • I really like the way the director captured Wolfe and Fritz Brener.

  • Unfortunately, this series was too intellectual for the mainstream audience, who needs to be spoon-fed an action spot or sexual innuendo every 10 seconds to keep its attention.

  • I love this show. A good classy show only lasts 2 seasons when complete trash lasts forever. What kind of world do we live in when stupid reality shows get 10's of millions of viewers and this gets canceled.

  • to see this scene once shown on T.V. again reminds me sadly of how far A&E has fallen

  • When I win the lottery, I will give it to A&E to revive the series. How could they cancel something so beyond their very best programming I'll never understand.

  • @ElPiconeroalCognac tht would be cool but who could play Nero Wolfe now? so sad, he was so perfect at this role and timothy hutton is the best archie. its such a shame.

  • The show has Wolfe being much more sentimental than the books, but I can't fault them for it, I still love this series and damn A&E for canning it for cheaper programming.

  • I just someone could start posting it here. I was just thinking today that A&E isn't what it once was.

  • This scene is ridiculously classy. Thank you for posting this! Wonderful series!

  • A truly inspired ending for Stout's original "Poison a la Carte." Kudos to screenwriter Sharon Doyle.

  • I have to agree. This series was and still is a damn good one, and this scene just adds to its class.
