  • I have noticed a number of Brits making negative comments and that's fine. But you clearly have no clue what real winter driving is. On the Canadian prairies conditions can change from -40c to + 15c in 24hrs ( in the chinook belt ). Nokians are the only tire that can handle these extremes. Get some real experience before you post such nonsense.

  • 0:50 How many of those were Drunk DRIVERS?

  • I have Hakkapeliitta RSi's on my car and I put them on when there was a bad storm happening , I used to think all season tires would be fine well was I wrong !!!! My car ran through the snow like it wasn't there, the control was outstanding , braking very good. Now I'm a believer , so get a set of good snow tires. You won't be sorry !!!

  • I use nokian hakk 7 studded tires I think there the best in the world they rip through any conditions

  • If you drive something such as a big Audi, Mercedes or a BMW it is a good idea to get a small second hand car such as a vauxhall corsa because small skinny wheels and tyres go best in the snow.

  • I have never understood people who try to save money by buying crappy tires, not changing them in time etc. I drive a cheap and old car, but I still bought the best studded winter tires in the market, which happened to be Nokian...

  • thumbs for 2:52!!! excellent maneuvering job!

  • Interesting statistics at the beginning. 37248 deaths per year, of which only13297 were in the 5 winter months.

  • You certainly wouldn't get away with the forceful advertising message in the UK!! No doubt about it though, winter tyres are essential.

  • Actually what your seeing is the fact the city didn't salt the highway and black ice formed making it a sheet of hell even top ice tire would slide..

But they would give more control than what your seeing, which means they are using all season when they totally whipe out and a high speed and loose control.. also lack of experience driving on ice.

  • Тут скидки на зимние шины shin-top.ru Это в Тюмени)))

  • @ 2:48 what a badass driver :0

  • GREAT DRIVER 2,54

  • @benzguylv I'd say lucky. If he was any good he wouldn't be driving at such speed in such conditions! lol

  • Winter tires are one of the most important safety items for your car. All of the electronic aids don't mean anything if you have inferior tires on the car. Use winter tires in winter people!

  • Yes its very important to change the tires because My Friend father Hit a Track with a old Volvo in a bad weather now hes dead

  • I've had several sets of Nokian winter tires, always great traction and confidence. Get all four, you won't regret it!

  • 1:38 was a bitch he could've dodge that

  • @carverson315 yeah...what the hell was that.

  • uuuughhhhhh.. american presenters...

  • @revitt1234 uuuughhhhhh.. american video website...

  • A little expensive but well worth it. The best winter tire you can buy.

  • cool thanks I didn't know they were so good. I will try them this coming winter, I know they are a little expensive but I need to try them

  • that's some bullshit,, yeah new tires does help but, if you are not used to drive on the snow you can have a 4x4 or the best tires un the world,,, the driver makes the difference not the damn car....I don't have a 4x4 and I made it trough the blizzard on the east coast last week and I saw a lot of 4x4's and different car get stuck

  • Tires help immensely. A more experienced driver will have an advantage over an inexperienced one.

If you take the same driver and put him or her in the same car and compare what they can do with winter or all season tires and winters tires will always come out on top. Winter tires will accelerate better, handle better and stop shorter than all season tires in bad weather.

  • @pcmr57 well ur first gusse was that they didnt and im tired so bare with my spelling.

  • @highgamer100

I have no idea what you're talking about and that has nothing to do with you spelling most words incorrectly and using no punctuation or grammar.

  • @thenenebello21

yes but between summer or all season tires and sinter tires the difference is just huge, you stop in half the distance for example... and the driver doesnt have much to do

  • you got a point! From a well experienced snow/ice/gravel driver from Finland :)

  • @thenenebello21 That is true. In my first job I had a shi**y old car during a winter but with brand new summer tyres. I was able to go faster than trucks in heavy snow conditions.

I saw people acting stupid in those conditions, like not leaving enough distance between them and the car in front of them like they were driving on dry clean roads.

Pedal to the metal on ice, always using the lower gears (manual gearboxes), braking really hard, throwing the steering wheel left right left right...

  • Where do you buy these? Don't see them for sale anywhere.

  • Finland.

  • @bos78 Check at online tyre dealers. Or check the Nokian's website for local dealers. That's what I did.

Youtube can be useful sometimes! I was looking for winter tyres and I am most likely going to get some Nokian Hakkapeliitta R. I often drive in icy/snow/wet (molten or fresh) conditions during winters. So it looks like the right stuff!

  • Best tires in the world doesn't make up for Stupidity and lack of common sense! But does help a little. Thank you Nokian.

  • pair this with a subbie and you can ice climb vertical. I've done it. Twice.

  • sweet tires awsome

    its on my wishlist ...
