here is the problem that i am running into

i have an ipod touch2g (MC model) and it IS jail broken. i did everything you said and for some reason when i get to WINSCP it keeps giving me a timeout error and everything is right. portforwarding sis enabled in my routher(dont remember what it is off hand) and resert my router and everything and still same problem. i even tired winSCP version 418 and 428 and still same error

BTW this f'd me over for a couple minutes.... be plugged into your router, rather than directly into your Modem.... It won't recognize it unless your plugged into it directly.

Avast is annoying as hell, it detects every little thing as a trojan, it's probably just a false detection. It's a really popular program that lots of people use, I'm pretty sure it's safe, but I could be wrong.

When I login the box pops up but there's no text in the box and it repeatedly times out. I went to the WinSCP FAQ and it says to use FTP, and when I use that I get the text in the box such as "waiting for welcome message.." but it still times out. Should I use FTP since its the only one I get the text in the box with or does the text not mean anything.
