The coupe was the most beautiful car ever made! I had a chance to buy a near perfect 1966 in the late 1970s for $5k - and passed it up, drats.
I understand there's a kit to modify them to compensate for the electrical defects, etc? I have heard some horror stories...

@HickysBoy So far (touching wood) no issues with Lucas the world of darkness.
@gendrey Yes, Lucas almost single-handedly destroyed the Brit auto makers. The 65-67 4.2s with the enclosed headlights were to my mind the best examples of the E-Type.
