everyone!!! listen. yes it is VERY MUCH POSSIBLE to connect a wii remote to a iphone. however, it is not possible to use the actual sensor as the iphone screen is not infra-red capable.
@plopbellie96 - YES but did you know that you can connect the Wiimote into your BT capable Windows PC? And then use the Wii's own supplied infrared bar and use your Wiimote with infrared tracking to control your pc cursor! And I am not lying, go Google :). So if someone would make Wiimote support with infrared, it could support the infrared motion tracking.

This is possible, Jailbreak then install BTStack, connect the wii remote along with the new motion+ thingy.
of course the app would have to include measurements for the x and y coordinates of the wiimote to tell where it is pointing.
