This is an example of the right way to introduce a new pet into the family. Let the existing one investigate the new one while seperate but not seperate. Give them the time to get to know each other and they should be very hapy together.

Our Syberian (looks very much like your ragdoll btw) is 8 now, and he's getting a little sister tomorrow too... she's 8 weeks old ...
