I have a ac30hw2 too, but I'm afraid of doing such modifications. Are they easy to do? :)

You switched the speakers too, or they are the well known stock greenbacks?

Speakers are Heritage G12H, the type that Blackmore had in his AC30 during the recording of "Machine Head".

@rbazzarella The most noticeable thing is how much less stiff the amp feels and how much more "vintage" it sounds. Rounder, warmer tone and a better response. It sounded great before, now it's just amazing. Can't recommend these mods enough.

Nice playing...do you have any clips where you're playing the modded AC30 on it's own? (i.e. no backing tracks) - I've got an AC30HW too and I'm trying to decide if it's worthwhile modding it. Cheers.
