2. Right Click system.ini

3.Properties

4. Security

5. Edit

6. Select your user, and below that there is a box called 'Premission for user'

7. Select 'Full Control'

8. Save file

This is bullshit.

That only works on windows 98.

386 is the model number of a (very old) Intel processor. It's not a number that represents a quantity of something, so increasing it won't do anything to performance.

So unless your running a 16bit dos program, like Duke Nukem, this file is useless.

Ok, This is what you do if you get access denied. Save it to your desktop. Then go to where you found your system.ini Left click it and click open file location. Then Drag the one you saved to your desktop on top of the Real one. And click replace. It worked for me message me if you get suck. (:

Example:

Before - Internet Explorer load up time = 15 seconds.

After - Internet Explorer load up time = 2 seconds!

Its cool the file as he open from start menu can be easily open from your windows

go to open your computer then double click Local disk then windows then scrow down you will found the file Name System open then write in that and save on disktop as system dot ini file.

because some time you can safe it directly to the same file thats why you have to safe it to disktop you can keep also the orginal file any where you like so first delete the file from windos and cut and paste the new one there.

I enabled my computer to see and edit system files and extension (Google it), then I right clicked on the system.ini file, then changed it to system.old using the admin selection called rename with the little blue and yellow shield on it. Then, I pasted the edited version that I had added to my desktop using Notepad. Worked like a champ. Just like in your example, the display of large photos become lightning fast.
