  • stage 3 kits still avaiable in a company in delaware that only specializes in strs my srt is currently under construction for stage 3 turbo all said and done its costing me 13,000 but thats because im doing it the right way and having everything redone under the hood to with stand the stage 3 or else its only going to blow up on u

  • @melmp3 You can't. Dodge/Mopar discontinued the stage 3 kit. Though there are companies that reproduce partial knockoff versions. Most don't include the intercooler sprayer, manual boost controller that has I believe 3 or 4 settings, and other goodies.

  • @chinistain Check all vacuum lines.. Make sure there is no leak, then check intercooler charge pipping. Mine did the same. Charge pipping and a hole in a vacuum line cut boost pressure to 2 lbs on my SRT.

  • stage 3 damn that's like stage slow. srt-4's dont get traction at all and u barely even spin the tires. Try buying a new turbo and then say it has a stage on it. You realize you modifications didn't gain u but 5whp the only real gain u got came from raising the boost. Which can be done with a $20 boost controller.

I have multiple videos of my car and a dyno of it making 230whp all of this was a year ago and at 1800lbs that shit was fast and srt-4's didn't even come close...ever. I just spent a few grand on methanol injection, a new motor, turbo mani, full stand alone and a 60 trim to make about 450whp and trust me thats all I will need with some slicks to run 10's all day. SO I dont see ur vids. I can take a vid of all my parts and post it if u want.

  • Get a little bit bigger injectors for power. Not all Power comes from boost. If you increase boost to 23 psi or higher then you need to check your air\fuel Ratios so you dont mess up your engine. Dont go over 23 PSI on a stock turbo!! Also upgrade your clutch and CV Axles! Its a time saver so you can keep tweaking your car without damaging stuff or break down.

  • the 924 had the audi engine at first. but the s2 and the 968 have the 3.0L 4cyl, the 951 and 944 have the 2.5 of course, thers a vid on here with a 944 with the 3L turbo makeing 500+ hp as a daily driver

  • Actually, i've you have some money laying around, caliber's are very easy to make fast just like NSRT-4's. They are heavier, and in my opinion, ugly, but I do give them a lot of credit. Check into it.

  • @livinndarkness - you know they are only slower due to PCM limitations in the first two gears that limits torque and of course weight... I have raced a couple nsrt4's since I clamped my CSRT4 with only intake and muffler delete and pull them pretty bad. I love the NSRT4 too they are nasty as hell but mod for mod the caliber puts out a lot more power. about 50whp more stock with way less boost.

  • @livinndarkness well it really depends on if you get the srt caliber, they push out over 300hp.

Not that I dont respect the neon, because I do, but it was just not for me.

Neons were getting hardcore expensive on insurance though, so for people like me, I'd take the caliber, just do to insurance savings, and... I hate that the neon IMO, always looks a little disproportional. HOWEVER. the caliber is ugly as sin, and looks like a cheap knockoff matchbox car.

  • dont listen to these guys. the mopar stage 3 kit with turbo toys costs 4174.95. without turbotoys its 3490.95. and the 330 is on pump gas but with the high octange mode feature on the turbo toys it can push 400+. im about to get a stage 3 kit for my nsrt4

  • Stage one is a PCM upgrade, basically a little tuning not a huge increase in HP

    Stage 2 is a PCM, injectors, wastegate. Increase in boost bc of wastegate adds a decent amount of HP for the price.

    Stage 3 is Bigger turbo, wastegate, pcm, injectors...some other stuff maybe. Biggest up in HP fro mthe stages. Then I think people are porting stage 3 turbo and clipping the turbine maybe? not sure havent been on forums for a while. Any other srt4 owners have any corrections?
