Im a huge tool fan and i appreciate any band showing their love and respect for the band by covering their songs. Heck, i was in a crappy tool cover band called LOOT. It was fun!

Not bad at all. I like it. It is awesome when another band respects another's music and play's it on stage. That is why i love covers. There is a respect factor and its always nice to hear another's take on someone else's stuff

its a pretty good cover....some ppl jus need to get over the fact that yes Tool is an amazing band that no other band in the world could ever come close, but there is nothing wrong with a band as great as BB covering one of their songs. its nice to know that they love listening to tool as much as any crazy Tool fan!

I like BBs version better then Tools myself.i think they do a kick ass job.ive seen a perfect circle in concert.it was a snooze fest..so i wouldnt bother seeing tool.

@deadkornbread That's really misinformed, so to speak, to decide you don't want to see Tool live because A Perfect Circle was boring (just because it's the same singer??). Their music is so much different. APC has a lot of slower songs, especially on Thirteenth Step album.

@MyThirdEye10000 I'm hoping to see them in Orlando February 7. I woke up at 9 am two days ago to buy the ticket in person with cash (only option I have). I wasted a couple hours riding my bike & the bus to a couple places (1st place didn't open box office til 4:30) then found out that Walmart (5 min bike ride from my house) recently started selling Tickemaster, but by time I got there THEY WERE SOLD OUT! My friend might help me with a reseller site or scalp at the show.

As a HUGE Tool fan, I completely respect Breaking Benjamin for this cover. It was done very well! Also, they are obviously just playing music they love - which is perfectly fine.

At least he had the balls to apologize for it beforehand. I agree with jtcolts72, covering TooL should be illegal. There is no band in the world that can play TooL, besides TooL.

And, elevatorincident, I'm sorry. You guys are entirely too young to be attempting anything like that. You need a great deal more life experience before you can feel what TooL is feeling. You definitely should have apologized beforehand.

Tool has always been a hermit reclusive type of band so we need cover artist to spread the music to new people., turning them onto tool... their is a big difference in a studio version and live version when you are their , you have to feel it shake every part of your body to really appreciate it. any way i dunno i'm drunk lol but thats just my two cents...

You don't have to be in the original tuning to do a cover. Also, it's maybe, MAYBE, 5bpm's slower than the original. Your bands cover sucked. Get over it and quit pissing all over this one. I don't even LIKE Breaking Benjamin. It's a solid cover, though. Get a clue. Besides, my band could out play your band any day.
