  • @DaveBpt when has anyone from the tea party screamed for help from the government (never). None of them use those systems like food stamps and other entitlements because they have a sense of personal responsibility and jobs.

  • Okay, this explains why there was such weak attendance, they were trying to get in on the tea party and the libertarians went home so they didn't add to the stupidity sponsored by FAUX NEWS. Ron Paul won't shift his message, so the right wing extremist republicans will never see eye to eye with libertarians. They only want to steal your ideas for a protest as if it was their idea. It shows how lacking they are in having an original idea.

  • With all of this press, we Libertarians need to push for more recognition, and educate the public about freedom and our rights. Join the Libertarian party nearest you and plan some more protests.

  • Libertarians should go indepedent and form a third viable party. A strong libertarian candidate would give president Obama a run for his money in 2012. But the GOP as it stands today wouldn't win an election in the next 100 years.

  • Get real. I like Libertarians. They're a very valid special interest group. But they're no more viable as a political party than the US Chamber of Commerce.

  • I honestly believe a strong Libertarian candidate is capable of drawing suport from the moderate left as well as the moderate right, and that would be a huge chunk.. BTW, I'm a ''lefty''... and I like Ron Paul. But politics remains politics and I will always be a skeptic.

    What were once groups devoted to the Ron Paul Revolution and the message of peace, prosperity, and freedom from tyranny, have become belittle Obama hate groups.   • here in louisville they keep saying we are getting taxed and refuse to hear that taxes are going down for them, they dont want the rich to pay 3% more. and most are claiming obama is cauing all government spending and refusing to hear about bush, there was about 90 to 100 here

  • Is anybody getting the unemployment checks Obama extended? the extra food stamps? Anybody has children with no insurance that can now get medical care thanks to Obama? Is anybody there being able to refinance his morgage and not lose his home thanks to Obama? I bet many are(unless it is a village of 200 people).
