  • I wonder what Freddie would have thought about his legendary status since he died. He probably would say, did you expect anything less, dear? Died far too soon.

  • Why didn't you show his mother?

  • @yryriza I think she was behind someone from the angle I was taking the film.

  • @bsgrdn What I meant was why didn't you film her speaking? From what Brian said, it sounds as if she just spoke, unless it was much early and you had just gotten there then. The wind sucks because it affected the sound. Stupid wind.

  • @yryriza Well I got some stills but wasn't sure how much filming I could do with my camera. There should be some other uploads of her speaking.....

  • love them both

  • Beautiful and well spoken by Brian, as always. Freddie was very lucky to have men like Brian, Roger, and John as his colleagues and friends. Their never-ending love and respect for him is always felt.

  • Thankyou for disabling embedding! =/

  • My pleasure :o)

  • Thank You for posting this. I also have been a big Queen fan since 1974 (age 13, first real record purchased, Sheer Heart Attack) Freddie was the Greatest Frontman/Singer to ever live. I only hope I can Travel to Feltham someday to visit the Memorial.

  • its 3 for 2 offer in the background

  • Thank you for filming this and shareing it with us. I can only imagine what it would be like to be that close to Brian. What a blessing !

  • Thanks for your comments. After following the music of Queen since 1974 when I was 11, it was quite strange and an honour to be standing so close to Brian after all these years. He spent about 20 minutes signing autographs and chatting to the crowd after the ceromony, which was thoughtul of him.

  • where is roger and john.

    never see it

  • Hi - Do you have the complete ceremony- if you do please upload I would love to see it all!!

  • Sorry no.

  • Thank you so much for uploading this. I couldn't be there but it was wonderful to see.

Brian is such a wonderful talker and a beautiful human being.

  • Isn´t Brian the most humble and kind man one can think of ? Never acting as the star he in fact is himself and always giving Freddie cred for the life and work he persued. Thank you for uploading this rarity. Love from Sweden

  • Awesome day!!! Shame Feltham has a T**T for a Mayor tho!!!

  • Freddie RIP my friend, we miss you and love you. x

  • i was going to go,,i know the lead singer of mercury the tribute band,,wife had an op on her yesterday,,so im the house wife this week,,did see queen in 86 though,,many thanks for posting,,much appreciated

  • I don't know where the tribute band were playing exactly, but the sound was being played over speakers in the square. They sounded excellent! I couldn't beleive it when the mayer said that the lead singer of the tribute band was the only person there that made him feel thin!!

  • I miss him! Queen will never been Queen again without our frontman.

  • Thanks for sharing such warm moments.

    "Friends will be friends"...

I hhpe and wish Freddie gets all these good vibes and love wherever he might be.

  • i was there but wasnt so lucky to get as close as u! what an excellent afternoon!

  • Yes it was quite moving to hear freddie's mum paying tribute to him etc.

  • I live in feltham, but i never knew he used to live here.

  • Well now you know!

  • You were so lucky to be there, are there any more videos? x

  • Only one of them unvieling the star, but I couldn't get a very good view. I wish I'd filmed Freddie's Mum's speech now. It was quite moving.

  • Thanks for filming this and posting it!

  • Pleasure. Just sorry for the picture quality.

  • Thanks for this; when I get my version edited I shall upload also, Brian is always so humble and was nice to also see Freddie's mother. It was a great day.
