I have experienced the same a few days ago in Austria. Luckly, our windshield didn't break, and it didn't get damaged. The hood, the roof and the trunk did get damaged.

Damn, man! As a storm chaser for 10+ years I've thus far managed to avoid anything over 2" diameter hail, but I know how easily it can happen. Don't feel bad, even the best chasers in the world get something like this once in a while.

if anything, with their thinner bodywork, japanese cars would be the first ones to go....
id take a japanese car over an american one, but come on. atleast bash sensibly, if at all.
