The thing about Sonic Adventure is that they got Sonic right first. He had twice as many stages as any one of his friends.
And even when playing as his friends, the gameplay kept up a fast pace. That's what I hated about SA2. Playing as anyone but Sonic or Shadow was slow. Tails and Robotnik? Slow paced. The original E102 Gamma? Fast.
Rogue and Knuckles? Given the nerfs to their radar since the first SA, it would take you twice as long to finish their stages. It grated me.
They should introduce it for all gaming platforms if this is a Sonic turn around, and not limit it to Nintendo. Have 2 campaigns, good and bad, and have each character intertwine with anothers story line for co-op game play. Have Chao gardern with epic add ons, and a possible multiplayer. Also, they have Adventure 1 on Xbox 360 download, put Adventure 2 up, I'd definately buy that.

After Sonic Generations, Sega is definitely headed in the right direction! :D

TBH Sonic 2006 actually seemed like a Sonic Adventure 3. What I want is like a Sonic 2006 DX, they fix the glitches, improve the textures a little and have more features.

I don't think that Sonic 06 is the 3th part of adventure seríes because here are some things:
1. There wasn't a chao garden.
2. There weren't the powerup items (like the light speed shoes)
3. In the multiplayer mode there were only sonic, shadow and silver playable

they need to return to the old engine of sonic the sonic adventure engine these new engines are ass they need to make the engine a tab bit better by adding crazy over the top action like make you able to run up walls and water make the engine like a jak&daxter sand box let you select your character give them a story make a big plot and bring back all I mean all sonic characters and bam we have our new sonic oh yeah add online 4player multiplayer like boss battles and racing or fighting thumbs up

@GamerDude748 Well, no. Sonic 06 WAS actually going to be Sonic Adventure 3 but, sadly Sony and Microsoft forced SEGA to rush and hurry before they sue. The fans also rushed them. And, SEGA wanted it by the holidays. It released a train wreck! So, they didn't name it Sonic Adventure 3. They will have to make a proper 3rd Adventure game.

Snic 06 WAS Snic Adventure 3!!!! its tha same kindof set up as the first 2 Snic Adventures! By looking at their last 2 releases (Colours and Generations) it appears they've learned their lesson about adding stupid things like knights and werehogs. My faith in Sonic Team has been restored, i'm hopeful
