It's funny how another soldier, Bryan O'Neal, was praying for help when the friendly fire was coming at them and Tillman told him to shut up and stop praying, then Tillman ends up dead. Seems like Tillman should have done a little praying himself.

Pat Tillman was no idiot. It's a shame how such genuine acts of serving your country through major sacrifices of your lifestyle, career, and family are looked upon as actions of stupidity. He was fully aware of what he was serving for, and was even spiteful to fight for what he felt to be corrupt when he was sent to fight in Iraq. He accepted no interviews through his abandonment of a multi-million dollar NFL contract, and went forward with full understanding of what he was leaving behind.
