heeyy... i need ukulele help

i recently had my ukulele repaired and .... i used to have like clear strings on it... and they replaced them with black strings...

im not ukulele savvy but.... do you know what strings are better or if you can tell by the color .... ahh i don't know. i just feel ripped off for some reason.

There are some pretty good black strings around, so I don't think you're ripped off, you just got something else back. In my opinion the best strings around are Worth Clear Medium and Aquila (for cheaper instruments).

I'm glad I inspired you! Yes, I mainly play soprano ukulele. The only exception is my taropatch, which is concert scale (8 strings).

Good: no. Gorgeous: you bet. The latches don't work too well and those early Martin cases are too big. So it's not a case for on the road, but definitely a case for drooling at home. :)
