The CTS V is a luxury sport sedan. Other cars in this class are the Mercedes Benz C63 AMG, the Lexus IS F, the BMW M3, Nissan Maxima and Jaguar XF. The CTS V blows all these cars away in performance, it's just not the prettiest car on the lot.
The GT R is an excellent car but again, the American made Corvette ZR1 blows it away in every contest!
I would never buy Asian anyway except for maybe a Lexus.... then again, naw.
The New York Times described the interior of the GT-R as sounding like "A demonic vacuum cleaner". I love Nissans, but Cadillacs are smooth, quiet luxury cars; not supercars. Compare the car to something more suitable please.

0-60 for a stock GTR is somewhere around 3.5 seconds depending on which magazine you read. The CTS-V has a 0-60 of 4.9 seconds. Get your facts straight.

You're comparing apples with albino orangutans. I can't compare the GT-R with an F-22 Raptor. The F-22 Raptor is going to shatter the GT-R in any measure of performance. This is the car I am going to buy. In the fall I test drove the Lexus IS'F and the M-Benz C-63 AMG and... they just didn't feel right.
I could barely fit in the Lexus and I felt like I should have a poodle when driving the Mercedes.
