As far as I'm concerned, this is the greatest goal ever. Saw it live on TV as it happened. It's a one in a million performance. Rooney offered good competition recently though.
Any compilation of greatest goals needs to include Djorkaeff's incredible achievement.
@AttackTheGasStation1 He played for France just because he had French citizenship. Plus, Djorkaeff isn't a name of French origin. Please type on Wikipedia "Youri Djorkaeff".
@chiefofhunt Youri Djorkaeff was born in France ( Lyon ). His education was french, his language was french, his formation ( football ) in france. This is France which made Djorkaeff what he is. He played for France and won world cup and euro 2000 with France.
@AttackTheGasStation1 He is not French. He just has French citizenship because he is mix of Kalmyk and Polish (through his father) and Armenian origins (through his mother). His father wasn't French; his mother wasn't French. So, he is not French.
There was a Djorkaeff back in the ´60. Were they related?
