I just read that Cliff Robertson died yesterday. Very sad day today all around for many reasons. He reminded me of my step-dad and he died like Carver did in the movie, all alone and just went to sleep. I hope that Cliff went peacefully and not in pain. Thank you to a very kind man for many great movies.

This part makes me so sad. Carver may have been a tough man, but he seemed like he was a big softie underneath all of that. The proud look he gives Al when he finds out that Al got them the deal was so touching.
