I just love when KIDS try to teach magic when they themselves have no idea what they are doing. Learn the rules of magic! What is RULE # 1.  Every time you do this you kill the ART! You want to learn magic, then pay for it !

Lighten up.

First, I bought the standard bicycle deck from a reputable dealer and it was a problem right out of the box. I tried to "repair" it with a Krylon spray. So for $12.50 and hours of trying to solve the problem I had nothing.

Second, Burling Hull is credited with creating it 1909.

Third, many of these products are obscenely overpriced. I just saw a Video that ran for 12 minutes and cost $30

@YD8189 Exposing magic on the internet is no laughing joke. If you make a living with magic as I do, it's not funny when some kid yells out the secret at an event that I'm performing at. Even if the kid is wrong it's not good! What is the purpose of TRYING to tell others how to do the trick! Does it make you feel as if you are above us?

First of all, change your name because you are not "illuminated". Go after Rich Ferguson, Daniel Garcia, Dan Martin, and Brian Brushwood if you don't like magicians showing reveals.

This kid shows you how to save a few bucks and you accuse him of the doesn't-pass-the-laugh-test sin of revealing secrets kept for "hundreds of years." Google "Invisible Deck Revealed". There are more than 27,000 returns.

I bought mines for $7.50. I rather buy it then make it. Because after the trick is done I can just put the card back in the deck and go back to doing the trick to someone else. Don't need to waste time putting chap stick on the back of my cards.

@VasilisVi most people have playing cards in their home so no money cost there (or buy for $2) and i would say 90% of people have Chapstick. So no need to go to the store. This is to show if you have these items, you can make one instead of going to a magic store. Where I live, there is a magic store about 2 hours away so I rarely go. Thats why I thought of this way. But if there is one near you, go ahead and buy it if it is cheap

Since when does an Invisible Deck cost $30.00! Also, as someone else mentioned, the proper way to do this is by the use of rouging spray as that is how an ID is made.

If you think this is the best card trick ever, you must not work much. The beauty and the popularity of the invisible deck is that it only requires you to know a few rules and can count to 13. What incredible move did this kid reveal?

I'd bet you don't have a move anywhere near as brilliant as Daniel Garcia's Iphone trick or many others revealed on "Scam School" and he is willing to share while you rant about being ripped off.

Actually, you can get an invisible deck for between six and twelve dollars, depending on where you buy it. Chapstick costs about $2.50. It seems to me to be more economical to just buy the $6 invisible deck than to spend the rest of your life buying Chapstick over and over. And that's without even mentioning the time you'd save by not having to reapply the Chapstick. OR, you could buy a can of Testor's Dull Cote and spray your cards with that.
