@jonesernater Not an amanita. This species is Leucocoprinus birnbaumii. Unlike Amanitas, they have no volva, are saprotrophic, and the microscopic features are very different.
why did the 1 on the rite grow faster than the left 1? im guessing cuz of the lack of nutrients... once the one on the rite died and stopped eatin the nutrients, the one on the left sprouted up immdeitaly... unless im wrong haha let me kno if im wrong
Without a time lapse, I did a similar thing with a similar mushroom. It's a YouTube called My Favorite Mushrooms. It was definitely a great year for them! At least in the northwoods of Minnesota.
They grow faster than you'd think... at first, heh heh heh...

The mushroom is only the reproductive structure. The rest may still be alive underground.

Those are a type of amantias they are responsible for 95% of all mushroom deaths
