It's Glinka's composition. This 5 CDs box set, together with the complete set of Mussorgsky's songs, are IMHO among the most beautiful recorgings of Boris Christoff. Here he demonstrates intimate qualities which are very in the opera. Thanks for having posted this!

The composer is either Glinka or Borodin. May be someone would clarify. In CD1 of 5 CDs with Russian songs.
