Georgia is a very good team. hawaii doesnt even have half the recruiting money that georgia has. so you have to give them props.they pretty much have people off the streets and ex convicts. but they did what they could. if you look at the scores around the nation there was alot of teams blown out. maybe georgia should have been with USC and hawaii could have been matched up with illinois....cause they certainly got SPANKED also!!!!

Was Miami too strong that day? Was Miami too strong to go to a bowl game this year? Yeah, the Canes had some ridiculously good teams in the 1980s (and 2001, when they had the best ever put on the field), but they are absolutely horrendous now.

Some are ranked, some are 1-AA, but the fact remains that we aren't going to fly to hawaii to play in a stadium that doubles as a flea market to play a team who isn't very good. andrew, you're accounting for only three yrs. back in the late 80s/early 90s the gators terminated their home & home series with the hurricanes.the reason they gave was to have a "more diverisfied
schedule. they then scheduled montana st which they whipped. truth is they couldnt stand getting whipped by the canes. they havent played a out of state
road game since 1996. did not make a offer to make a return game @ Hawaii. Im not convinced they walk the walk.

You would never know yes they would most likely be undfeated in the wac but im talking about the other games non wac and undfeated is hard. and remember sometimes everyone can't stay healthy unless they shoot up. I think Michagan is over rated a little but Georgia should have played USC that would have been a good match up. For Hawaii I was saying teams didn't want to come to Hawaii to play cause its risky and a distraction to many teams being in Hawaii.

Hawaii had a weak schedule this year cause of teams didn't want to play. It would be a big risk for a SEC team to play all the way in Hawaii cause if they lost they go down big in the BCS rankings.
