Sure, its fun to play a little with friends, but when people spend a lot of time PRACTICING rock band and guitar hero, you can't help but feel sorry for them, unless they play real guitar too. Doing the same thing over and over and over again is no fun to me. I need a little bit of freedom, which a real guitar gives me. ;)

The two games are actually going in different directions imo. Rock Band is going as realisticly possible (which is why it will never reach that utterly insane difficulty in GH3), while GH is going into a competitive music game. Besides, a game doesn't need to be hard for it to be good. Also, if Rock Band is so easy, how come noone has FBFC'ed every song yet?
