  • Really? I figure that between 3200 and 4000 is average damage for most air combos regarding all characters, cept for Tager, since he can't air combo. And it really depends on what you use to go into the air combo.

  • 5 means neutral so just press C and 2c also works but shit is high risk.

  • ragna's air combos are usually mid to high 2000s

    if you add a grab in there then it will probably reach 3000s.

    i personally just link a 5B and then 6A, or a 5B, 5D dash cancel into air combo, or I.D. into air combo.

    but they all roughly do the same damage, unless you do some real creative shit. but im just talkin about the C, D, jump cancel , C, D, I.D.

  • Well then maybe my vision is worse than I though, granted I do the ground Dloop into Blood Kain -> Devoured by Darkness, mean combo and way to easy to bait a burst, real problem is I don't use tension often so I'm stuck with full meter and lazy, no challenge coming from my friend for some reason, and I know I'm not getting better unless playing GG for 6 hours straight as Sol makes you a better Ragna.

  • well ur not always gonna be able to use blood kain loop and obviously that is 3000+ damage. and wouldnt playing ragna make u a better ragna??

  • Hey, Order Sol is Ragna, with more damage, a better meter, and a Tyrant Rave so utterly delicious that at level three i blow away 3/4 of your health on a counter hit! Besides, GG has more characters and variety, plus I have no ability to do air combos, though me ground rush is good, plus I just got real good as Jin and Bang so my primary problem is whether to use meter, or not use meter.

  • but ground rush is kinda limited, it definitely does not last as long as combos in the air and watching videos, everythign in BB eventually just ends up in the air. and then u apply pressure again and repeat

  • Isn't that the majority of 2D fighters. Granted I only have experience with BB and GG, and as I stated, me no good at air combos, so ground rush is all I got...

  • @Dooba101 well for BB and GG dont they always start from ground and then eventually something has launch the opponent up to continue a long loop. unless u play with tager/potemkin i guess or u got frame trap stuff or other stuff.

  • Really? Axe Kick on a burst Bang? Straight punch to 5B is the way to go. Oh well, pretty good Ragna from what I see, good rush game, though his blocking could use some work. Then again, Dora is a real good Bang, so maybe it was just misfortune.

  • straight punch is a way to end Inferno divider, causing wall bounce. Normally it puts the other guy in range for uber kick, which would have had reset time from landing doing full damage and allowing him to combo into G.H. or H.F. if necessary. Then again this is pure analysis, in the heat of the moment there is no telling what will happen.

  • YAY DORA!!!! I loved that part where ragna uses blood kain and he switches to poison dart tactic to drain his health super fast. I don't know how these guys get so good...

  • I don't think it was so much to lose health faster, but more health, since Blood Kain automatically drains health -.- the poison dart would just make him lose extra. Funny that not many bangs use that more than drive nails, but drive nails is better for pressure. -.- .-.-

  • Good lord those were great matches. Been a while since I rooted for a Ragna player, Dora is awesome with those Furinkazan shenanigans. Lets hope they do some rematches!

  • Beautiful matches. It could have gone either way in a couple of those rounds but my goodness all them had great finishes IMO.

  • I swear most of the fights I watch on this site for BB the burst barrier is not a good ROI. Most get their ass handed to them after using it.

  • You should watch this one dio vs kaqn match... kaqns about to perfect dio then dio bursts him into the corner, then basically 100%'s him and wins the round. there is definitely situations too use it, dora was pretty risky here though.

  • I did a search for them and found a video where kaqn is at like 70% health and Carl uses it in the corner and the only reason it took so long for kaqn to finish him off is for some reason he started turtling. The only character decent for turtling is Hakumen. But I definitely didn't see any 100% combo. Only way that could happen with Dio is A) kaqn used his burst at 100% health (which would be stupid), B) got a negative penalty for turtling (also stupid), C) both, or D) cheap ass clap loop.

  • Didn't say it was a 100% combo, although it exists for Carl I think, he does it too dora in one video. I just said he 100%'s him, doesn't get hit and just traps him in the corner. Yes there's definitely a clap loop in there though.

    Like I said kaqn is literally going too perfect him... 1% life too 100% and dio wins by bursting him in the corner.
