lol It's actually because BMW and Mercedes have been well established in the US that Audi USA feels the need to continuously remind ppl that they're a competitive in the US luxury auto market as well. There are ads/billboards in Germany where BMW compares their cars to Audi's. They're both high quality brands, so the problem is that Audi needs to maintain a constant brand image regionally, from country to country.

That S5 is hands down the best looking affordable car I have ever seen out of germany.
