@PandoraHearchu This is not true. I do not want to start arguments or make people angry, but Crypton and Sega have never stated that the append models are older. The append models were made to give vocaloid better range and to help them sound more realistic--age was never mentioned, thus Len and Rin Append are still 14 and Miku Append is still 16.

@fanhillary append is pretty much upgrades to where they can range in different ranges they can't reach with he original voice for example, Miku is a very high pitched but with append soft she kind sing softer to add affect. that is pretty much it, voice upgrades for songs they usually can't reach the range for or the writer just wants something new
