@Tonberry8Bit Red are persians, Blue are Macedonians. Resume: Darius had infantry at the center and cavalry at his flanks, He tried to outflank Alexander's army (almost the same formation but with light infantry at the front) with his whole cavalry. Alexander got known of this, so he sent his cavalry to repel Darius' and atacked his left flank then he sent his heavy infantry to the center and set his light one to protect them from the rear and from the cavalry mess. as a result Darius retreated.
