nope more like turn up the crime rate...i live in the minneapolis...the city part and i have been robbed seven times. The only thing you hear when the news comes on is .....shooting.... robbery....mugged....hit and run....raped...harassed and it just goes on and on.

Minneapolis is like New York but ..turn down the criminal rate a bit ..and the population .. and you've got minneapolis...great city : ) and it's a very clean city
Is this a decent place to live/work? I live in Miami at the moment and am thinking of moving up to the Twin Cities. Are there things to do and interesting niches to the city and social life like there are in Miami?
@MoaningZombies Well we have been called the Mini apple . We have a lot of arts and museums . The clubs and bars and they are getting better every year and plenty of restaurants .... I'd visit before hand , but our winters would be a shock to someone from Miami
