Some deaf people who visited Gallaudet told me its in the ghetto, bad area, etc. and I should not go to Gallaudet because of that. I personally think that's rubbish though because I do not see any of what they said in your video. The university looks very well kept up, organized, and clean.

All people, hearing and Deaf, should visit Gallaudet at least once in their lifetime. It is a national historical place.
