The only reason this band never made it was Kudlow's voice. If they would have had an actual singer we would never need to discuss their success or credibility and they would have been able to tour to decent crowds forever and ever like Helloween or Saxon.

Anvil was the bridge between NWOBHM and the Metal that would come to define the 80's. Their early contributions cannot be denied. there was a progression in their first 3 albums. Forged In Fire was ahead of it's time. At the time of its release it was widely panned, but over time people have been able to grasp and fully come to appreciate its significance.  There should be an official Heavy Metal Hall of Fame, and Anvil should be charter members! \m/
