adamberg666 has a manual car ever had accelerationproblems? No. Are most people with acceleration problems over the age of 65? Yes. Are humans quick to blame someone or something for their mistakes? Yes. Does Toyota have acceleration problems? Absolutely not.
GM!!!! take a frickin step back from your innovations and try and do the basics right!!! whens the last time you won an engine award? how about your chassis'? get it the hell together! Chevy VOLT? who gives a flying fukaroonie if all the vehicles your making right now are pieces of junk and could be more efficient. Chevrolet cobalt... voted least reliable car of 2009!
I was hoping this would be a light amplification system. Where night-vision cameras would transmit a "brighter than normal" view of your surroundings to the windshield. A simple face tracking camera could aim it perspectively to where the driver's eyes are.
Hey GM JUST BUILD CARS THAT CAN MAKE IT TO 200,000 MILES OKAY? YOUR SILLY SPACE AGE AIRCRAFT fIGHTER TYPE DISPLAY SHIT IS A WASTE OF THE TARP MONEY THAT WE GAVE YOUR DUMB ASSES TO TRY TO PULL YOURSELVES OUT OF THE SUV HUMMER HOLE YOU DUG FOR YOURSELVES.
This is a great system for enhancing vision that might be impaired to normal vision as a function of whether or obstacles or potential problems like a dear on the roadside. What I want it to do however is highlight cops with laser/radar guns and jam them. :D
Well, the morons are going to drive on the same roads as we all do anyway, so it's better to provide them with technology that'd help them not crash into excellent drivers like you. Right?
because if this gets serious enough. Sensors could pass through snow to detect the lines/reflectors on the road to let people know where the edges of the road are. This does in fact increase safety... Some of the other parts are not necessarily helpful. but detecting road lines in the snow would be great.
Or alternatively, the windshield could darken the bright lights from people who drive with their brights on.
Has great toyota potential, but great if it works.
your completely right? patriotism is a disease of the weak minded, and america has debilitated their own auto industry by not sticking to their free market/ buy the best product values. and by continuously buying American the american car manufactures realized they didn't need to keep up with the other countries and then they fell behind and are going to take a decade to play catch up.
This guy isnt exactly a...Public Speaker.... is he.

- distracting
- useless
- massive waste of money on r&d and implementation
good job GM
SynVisions 2 years ago
dude you right about the massive waste of money and the distraction part (when not necessary ie. on a sunny cloud free day)
we dont need this bc ppl should be paying attention to the road anyway
as far as useless i wouldn't go that far its got its high points but we really dont need this that much

This is for morons who cant drive. GM sucks anyway, why would you want one of their cars? this just seems pointless.
