Yeah. In this game everyone is wearing the DYRL uniforms. I think the DYRL the creator liked the DYRL uniforms and mecha designs and I think he stated that those are the "canon" designs now though the story in the TV series is "canon". I too like the movie designs more, seems more... thought out and plausible.
You can't choose the difficulty really. Like this game covers the TV series and the Movie, and if you choose to run the TV series route it's suppose to be "normal" difficulty. If you run the movie route it's supposedly hard. However,I can't really feel the difference in the difficulty.
Aww that's too bad. I wish they'd just remove the region lock for the PS3. It's nice that PS3 aren't region coded and that we can play japanese PS3 games on North American PS3s, but it would be even better if we could play japanese PS2 games on the PS3.
Yeah. I hope there will be another Macross game with more VFs. It'd be neat if they had a Macross game that went from the beginning to the end of Macross.

Roy is wearing the DYRL movie uniform, he should be wearing the black colored one as seen in the classic TV series.

A bit, however, they include yawing in this game, so L1 and R1 are taken up by that, so throttle control bis delegated to X and Triangle.
