  • Thank you! This one helped a lot!!

  • @conatorem welcome.

  • i solved my problem...my tv has to be set to analog when you close it in order when you open it with the code it will show the service menu

  • Hey i use the code you show and tv opens..service mode menu appears for about half second and then dissappears to normal tv...why??

  • my kdl-32v4730 doesnt open this menu :( i do exaclty what you show:(

  • I have a question, in service mode I made changes to one of the setting like "LVDS Spectrum(%)."

Every time I turn off my tv the setting reset it itself and doesn't save any changes I do to the particular setting. Any idea on how to keep my save setting?

  • no mather my older little model or your, all Sony TV's have this issue and don't have this option to chagne bettwen HDMI audio or Analog input in Menu, but maybe is something in Service menu so that's why I asked.

  • I have question, is it somewhere option in this service menu to change for HDMI #2 audio input bettween digital or analog input. (I mean analog input for 3,5m jack on backpanel for delivery analog sound for HDMI) Hope you will know what I mean.

    Thanks.

  • @PeterMacPL I know what you mean!......try and google it.....or check the sony site directly - is the port on the back OR the side???

  • @njllllljon - on the back black input jack near HDMI IN 2 in my KDL-46Z4500, but in your newer model should be similar or exactly the same.

The problem is because when I connect PC with DVI-HDMI cable which not send audio, and also connect jack-jack 3.5 for audio, then TV think is getting audio over DVI-HDMI cable and disable automaticly this analog connection, and it's not possible to change this in menu.

  • @PeterMacPL I do NOT think so. I know you can run a SEPARATE audio cable out of your headphone hack TO the TV, again this isnt my TV....lol
