Ive never played this but is it like pirates vs navy. Like lets say a bunch of pirates (real players) are hanging out on the island like in this vid having a good time. Can naval officer players (real players) go to the dock and attack the pirates?

The English, Dutch, Spanish, & French all were well known for their Pirates. But, I've never understood why the "Portuguese" have never garnered the same fame and notoriety for such. As they certainly have a very intense Maritime History of their own, involving their Empire!

@umean123 All large Superpower's/Empires of the "Old Day's" spawned privateer's and pirate's to irritate their rivals............... These days' though the pirate's from Somalia seem to enjoy yanking the "Lion's Tail" as far as powerful nations are concerned.......... France, America, & Britain need to go back to "PT Boat's" as they're a better way to combat this threat rather than regular oversized Warship's.

the better is way to download it is from link of the sites u have to download 4 zips and 1 install program then put them all together without unzip them in a file and run install .When u finish install launch the icon and automatticlly the SOE station will open for updates...Go to the the options then preferences game select and select the POTS.w8 for update done and launch the game :P Good luck!

As of right now there isnt a free trial so ya gotta buy the game which was $39.99 and then you gotta pay the $14.99 per month and you dont get a first month free or w/e... SO you gotta add the $14.99 right off. But if ya buy it online from the Station Launcher thing you can download it from that which is sweet. As far as lag goes my comp sux the big one so i have plently of lag but if ya got a newer computer with a decent Graphics card and obviously some nice high speed net your all set. WEWT!

Yes, it is the same set-up in Europe and Australia. It will be soon released in Russia and Asia under slightly different formats. There are dedicated European servers, some of the highest populated in the game.
