Ninja is the on'yomi reading of the two kanji . In the native kun'yomi reading, it is read shinobi, a shortened form of the longer transcription shinobi-no-mono . The term shinobi has been traced as far back as the late 8th century to poems in the Man'yōshū.[9][10] The underlying connotation of shinobi means "to steal away" and — by extension — "to forbear", hence its association with stealth and invisibility. Mono means "a person".
Okay, I still don't get it, the newspaper clipping clearly shows the dancer with his daughter. The dancer then says that the daughter is messed up with drugs, only to tell them later, in that ill-timed voice over 'it isn't his daughter." I don't get it..
It's a ripoff of the music in one of the skichase scenes in the James Bond film, For Your Eyes Only, which was scored by the creator of this theme, Bill Conti. He ripped off himself.
@Nr1Humanoid Wow! I never realized that. Sure enough, if you listen to the part from For Your Eyes Only, you can hear nearly every part The Master used. h t t p : //w w w. y o u t u b e. c o m /watch?v=ax5scn5KhOY
I like how at the 44:25 mark, the writers finally decide to wrap up the subplot (the real reason they were even in this town to begin with) by just adding two lines off-camera.
I'm still a little confused. She is pictured in a photo with his daughter, yet after she talks to her (again, off-camera) it isn't his daughter??? Makes no sense.
I remember fighting over the tv rights on friday nights to watch this show, thank goodness I eventually convinced my older bros to watch it! Love the memories of the 80s!
