I'm sorry Dave Stringer, but there is a difference between you and God. Bhakti means devotional Service to God. Service implies master and servant, a relationship of two distinct personalities. God is great and everyone else is His servant. Do not co-op "bhakti" to mean "groovin'" and enjoying the material senses. Bhakti means the sentiment that I am the eternal servant of God and life is meant for cultivating that love of God through service like chanting.
Bhaktifest was A M A Z I N G...it's Thursday, after the event, and I'm still in bliss...thank you for the wonderful yoga, music, and great connection of people!
BhaktiFest is a sham! It's all commercialism, making a buck to put in their pockets. They did not pay the bands as promised, nor did they offer them food or water. Shame on YOU Bhaktifest, this is not the yogic way.
that's simply not true. Free meals were offered to the bands on the day of their performance, water was free and available 24/7 at the water oasis, and the bands were paid.
Namaste !!!! from India....

In my "humble" experience, the only way this fest happens is because all the rich Trustafarians can afford to join another Religion.

@xwaystranger Pretty funny. I'm sure an element of truth, but don't be too cynical!
